ANIMA-POL Film Studio was established in Łódź in 1989. Initially it functioned as a Polish-French Company, and in 1991 it was transformed into a private film studio.
The Studio produces feature films, documentaries and animations, as well as about 200 episodes of film series and television programs. Films produced by the Studio have received awards at important festivals, including: The Montreal World Film Festival, Fort Lauderdale International Film Festival, Annecy International Animated Film Festival, Edinburgh Short Film Festival, Camerimage Film Festival, Polish Film Festival in Gdynia, Krakow Film Festival, Man in Threat Media Festival. For several years Anima-Pol Film Studio has also been creating international co-productions, cooperating with producers from Belgium, Spain, France, Austria, Great Britain and Czech Republic.
