The building which currently is a seat of the YMCA in Łódź was constructed in 1932 – 1935 according to design of Wiesław Lisowski. The first swimming pool (existing until today) in Łódź was here. In 1949 from the western side a theatre hall was added. This very interesting building, erected in the Modernistic style, is situated at 4 Moniuszki Street along a section between Piotrkowska Street and Sienkiewicza Street.
