Łódź Sport Arena was put into operation in August 2018. The patron of the hall is the legendary basketball coach – Józef “Ziuna” Żyliński. The hall serves primarily a sporting and recreational function. Its usable area is 10300 m2. The building, over 20 m high, will seat 3017 spectators. There are 2129 seats on fixed stands and 888 on extendable telescopic stands. The size of the sports field is 54 m by 28 m.
