The centre whose area is more than 5000 m2 consists of a four-track circular racetrack 200 metres long and 60-metre straight racetrack, swimming pool and a hall for 3000 spectators. A beach volleyball hall has also recently been built. For many years competitors representing Poland in international competitions, mainly in athletics, have been preparing here.It is situated at 5 Mościckiego Street in Spała, 60 km to the south east from Łódź, behind Tomaszów Mazowiecki.
