The park owes its common name (Julianowski park) to Juliusz Heinzl who at the end of the 19th century purchased the park and built in this place his magnificent residence. However, it has not survived until this day, because was destroyed during the World War II. The park itself with area of nearly 50 ha spreads along a valley of the Sokołówka river. There are numerous ponds in the park above which a concert bowl dominates. It is surrounded by the following streets: Zgierska, Sowińskiego, Jaworowa, Folwarczna, Róż Avenue and Karłowicza Street.
