The historic palace of the Steinert family, a well-known German factory owner family, was modernised under the supervision of a conservator. The whole estate shows the history of industrial Łódź, it also includes a garden with a cellar for storing food, an old weavers’ house from the 1840s, a renovated Adolf Steinert’s palace from the second half of the 19th century and the Steinert brothers’ unique double, asymmetrical palace building.
