In the city central section of 6 Sierpnia Street (from Piotrkowska Street to Kościuszki Avenue) an urban bailey so-called woonerf was made. It is a fragment of a street with paved surface of red cobblestones and with reduced car traffic. In a summer period it is full of gastronomic gardens of local restaurants and coffee houses forming one of the most popular places in the city’s public space.
