Throughout his son’s adolescence, his father convinces him that everything is possible for him, that he will not lack anything in life. As the son grows up, he still tries to live up to the expectations built up over the years. In the finale, however, he is able to break away from the fatherly pattern. When his own daughter makes a mistake, he sees nothing wrong with it. It’s good to let go sometimes – to yourself and to others.
