The protagonists of the film “Home” are 65-year-old Danusia and her 35-year-old daughter Basia who live in isolation from the world, in a house a few kilometres away from the nearest village. They earn their living from a small pension and a small farm, which they run together. They live in extremely poor conditions, without access to electricity and tap water. Fear of the world has made the daughter unfit to live in modern reality. Only the house and the mother give her a sense of security.
